Altona Gate Shopping Centre is the suburb’s main retail centre. Millers Junction, on Millers Road, adds large-format retail and a cinema, and the Pier Street strip in Altona is a short drive south.
Getting around
Bus route 232 runs to the city, and routes 411 to 414 connect Laverton and Footscray stations. Laverton is the nearest train station, the West Gate Freeway is close by, and the CBD is 10 kilometres away.
Parks and sport
Paisley Park has a golf course, swimming pool, badminton centre and soccer fields. S J Clement Reserve, W L J Crofts Reserve and the Urban Forest Reserve are the suburb’s other green spaces.
